How to get to the Pedagogical University Hotel Centre

(Hotels: “Za Kolumnami” and “Krakowiak”)

From Central Railway Station and from Regional Bus Station

Public transport:

The bus no. 208 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Wschód, get off at Armii Krajowej), journey time: about 20 min. Hotels “Za Kolumnami” and “Krakowiak” are located 200 metres from the bus stop (across the avenue). The bus route map: (http://www.mpk.krakow.pl/pl/page-f3044045/) - please see the bus line no. 208.

From Cracow-Balice International Airport

TAXI:

The taxi service from the airport is quite expensive, therefore we suggest you take the city bus or the train. The journey to the city centre by train takes about 20 min.

Public transport:

To get from the airport to the hotels, take the bus no. 208 and get off at Armii Krajowej. The bus route map: (http://www.mpk.krakow.pl/pl/page-f3044045/) - please see the bus line no. 208.

Train:

The train station is located 200 meters from the T1 international terminal. For travel between the train station and T1 and T2 terminals, we advise you to use the free Shuttle Bus service.

The Shuttle bus awaits at the train station and transports passengers between the domestic (T2) and international (T1) terminals and then comes back to the station.

The tickets can be purchased:

• on a train from the train attendant (please notify the train attendant before the journey)
• on a train from the automated cashier
• in T1 terminal (from the automated cashier located near the centre exit)
• at Cracow Central Railway Station (at ticket counters or from automated cashier located at Platform 1)

PLEASE NOTE! You need one ticket only. All rail ticket holders may travel with a change to/from any station within the 1st Cracow Metropolitan zone.

Ticket prices:

• One-way ticket: PLN 19
• Return ticket: PLN 29 (valid for 30 days from the first journey)
• Group ticket: 3 people - PLN 49, 4 people - PLN 59

How to get to the Jagiellonian University Student Hostel: “ŻACZEK”

From Central Railway Station and from Regional Bus Station

Public transport:

There is a direct connection by tram no. 15. Get on at Lubicz Street (route to Cichy Kącik) and get off at Oleandry tram stop. The journey takes about 15 min. The hotel is located 50 metres from the stop.

The bus no. 292 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Wschód, get off at Cracovia Błonia). Journey time: about 15 min. Go along Focha Street towards 3 Maja Street. The hotel is located 200 metres from the stop.

The bus no. 292 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Wschód, get off at AGH – University of Science and Technology) and the bus line no. 179 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Zachód – Galeria, get off at AGH - University of Science and Technology). The journey takes about 15 min. When you get off the bus, go along Adam Mickiewicz Avenue towards Reymonta Street. The hostel is located at Reymonta Street, 300 metres from Mickiewicz Avenue and Reymonta Street crossroads.
