Awarding the prize in the contest for “A Visual Identity Promoting The Second International Congress of Polish History – Krakow 2012”

In order to promote The Second International Congress of Polish History, Polish Historical Association, Krakow Branch, together with Jagiellonian University and Pedagogical University of Krakow organized a contest for “A Visual Identity Promoting The Second International Congress of Polish History –  Krakow 2012.” This contest was primarily addressed to all university students  and high school students specializing in fine arts, both from Poland and from abroad.

The Contest Committee assessed the following graphic designs:

  1. A logotype of the Second International Congress of Polish History.
  2. A poster promoting the Congress (electronic visualization of the poster: poster in Polish, poster in English).
  3. “The headed paper” for the Organizing Bureau of the the Second International Congress of Polish History.

On 13 June 2011 the Contest Committee made their final decision and awarded Ms Klaudia Pszczolińska. The Committee justified their choice by the fact that her paper was not only thorough and precise but it also pictured in a unique way the relationship between Krakow and the Congress.

The prize winner was awarded 1000 PLN, which has been sponsored by the Organizing Bureau of the Second International Congress of Polish History. The award ceremony will take place on 13 September 2012  in Auditorium Maximum of Jagiellonian University during the inauguration of The Second International Congress of Polish History.
