How to get to Jagiellonian University Auditorium Maximum

From the Central Railway Station and from the Regional Bus Station

To get to Auditorium Maximum you can take a direct bus from the Central Railway Station and from the Regional Bus Station. There are bus lines no. 179 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Zachód – Galeria) or 292 (pick-up point: Dworzec Główny Wschód). You must get off at AGH (University of Science and Technology) bus stop, then go across Adam Mickiewicz Avenue and turn into Krupnicza Street.

Public transport:

You can also take the tram: line no. 2 (route to Salwator), 4, 20 (route to Bronowice) or 15 (route to Cichy Kącik). Get on at Lubicz Street bus stop, get off at Teatr Bagatela bus stop (it takes about 5-7 min.). Then, turn right into Krupnicza Street and go straight until you reach the address Krupnicza Street 33.

TAXI:

You can also take a taxi. The fare from the Central Railway Station or the Bus Station to Auditorium Maximum should not exceed PLN 15.

From Cracow-Balice International Airport

TAXI:

The taxi service from the airport is quite expensive, therefore we suggest you take the city bus or the train. The journey to the city centre by train takes about 20 min.

Public transport:

To get from the airport to the city centre, take the bus no. 208 or 292 and get off at AGH (University of Science and Technology) bus stop. When you get off the 208 bus, go across Adam Mickiewicz Avenue and turn into Krupnicza Street. When you get off the 292 bus, go along Adam Mickiewicz Avenue as long as 300 meters and turn into Krupnicza Street.

Train:

The train station is located 200 meters from the T1 international terminal. For travel between the train station and T1 and T2 terminals, we advise you to use the free Shuttle Bus service.

The Shuttle bus awaits at the train station and transports passengers between the domestic (T2) and international (T1) terminals and then comes back to the station.

The tickets can be purchased:

•  on a train from the train attendant (please notify the train attendant before the journey)
• on a train from the automated cashier
• in T1 terminal (from the automated cashier located near the centre exit)
• at Cracow Central Railway Station (at ticket counters or from automated cashier located at Platform 1)

PLEASE NOTE! You need one ticket only. All rail ticket holders may travel with a change to/from any station within the 1st Cracow Metropolitan zone.

Ticket prices:

• One-way ticket: PLN 19
• Return ticket: PLN 29 (valid for 30 days from the first journey)
• Group ticket: 3 people - PLN 49, 4 people - PLN 59

From the Pedagogical University Hotel Centre

(Hotels: “Za Kolumnami” and “Krakowiak”)

Public transport:

The bus line no. 208 (pick-up point: ul. Armii Krajowej, located just next to the hotels, get off at AGH -  University of Science and Technology). From the Jagiellonian University Student Hostel: “ŻACZEK”

Public transport:

The bus line no. 292 (pick-up point: Cracovia Błonia, get off at AGH - University of Science and Technology) and the bus line no. 179 (pick-up point: Cracovia, get off at AGH -  University of Science and Technology). On foot:

The best way to get from “Żaczek” Hostel to Auditorium Maximum is on foot. You can take two routes. The first one: go past the National Museum (on your left) until you reach Mickiewicz Avenue. Then turn left and go as far as the traffic lights at the Jagiellonian Library. Go across Mickiewicz Avenue and Auditorium Maximum is just in front of you.

The other route: go along Oleandry Street and Ingardena Street as far as the traffic lights at the Jagiellonian Library. The journey takes from 5 to 10 min. in both cases.

From the Jagiellonian University Student Hostel: “NAWOJKA”

The best way to get from “Nawojka” Student Hostel to Auditorium Maximum is on foot. The journey takes about 5 min. When you leave the hostel, go towards Mickiewicz Avenue (about 300 m) and go across the avenue. Then, go towards Krupnicza Street (about 300 m).
